The Finnish Multidisciplinary Doctoral Training Network on Educational Sciences (FinEd) is a multidisciplinary network-like consortium made up of eight academic member units providing doctoral education in the educational sciences.
The FinEd Network serves as a forum of cooperation for Finnish doctoral programmes in the field of educational sciences; it brings together the doctoral researchers and supervisors of this growing multidisciplinary field. The aim of the FinEd Network is to develop doctoral education, strengthen networking in the field, and disseminate good practices in doctoral education. The network can also offer recommendations and instructions to its member units.
The FinEd Network’s central forms of activity are an annual seminar for the doctoral researchers, the mentor pool and the exchange of information between the member units.
